Angela Roennfeldt is an architect and currently the General Manager of Property and Development for a Melbourne not for profit organisation, VMCH. The organisation provides short and long term accommodation and services to people with disabilities and older people and her role is responsible for all new developments and property maintenance for the organisation. Since graduation, Angela has specialised the design of accessible built environments for people of all ages. In 1998, Angela received a Churchill Fellowship which enabled her to further her interest in adaptable and accessible housing and environments for older people with memory loss when she visited accommodation in several countries overseas. Angela currently holds the position of chair of the ME064 committee which writes the AS 1428 suite of standards and is a member of the Institute of Architects and Association of Consultants in Access, Australia.
