Mary Ann Jackson


An Architect, Planner, and Access Consultant, Mary Ann’s passions revolve around built environment accessibility for people with disability, sustainability, disaster reconstruction and equitable housing; her innovative work has received local, national, and international recognition.

Mary Ann has also designed and delivered tertiary and professional courses, seminars, and workshops in design, technology, sustainability, and accessibility, as well as conference presentations and peer-reviewed publications.

Mary Ann holds degrees in Applied Science and Architecture, an Urban Planning graduate diploma, a Master of Environment, and is currently undertaking a PhD focused on human rights-based approaches to improving neighbourhood accessibility for people with disability.
